Belmont Park, one of California's last surviving seaside amusement parks, can be found at Mission Beach in San Diego. The park has a handful of other rides and a large indoor swimming pool, but its Giant Dipper is undeniably the star attraction. Coincidentally, California's other seaside park — up north in Santa Cruz — also hosts a great woodie named Giant Dipper.
